TEACHERS
JEREMY
(Violin, Viola, Mandolin, Guitar, Beginner Piano)
Jeremy is a professional musician, producer, and studio engineer. He studied Music Business at UMass Lowell and has been fortunate enough to share the stage with some of the world’s biggest acts, including Justin Bieber, Nikki Minaj, Skrillex, Delta Spirit, and Explosions in the Sky. Jeremy has worked and toured the country with bands such as Air Traffic Controller, Peter Parchek, The Bridgebuilders.
Jeremy has been teaching students of all ages for 14 years, with ranges from 6 to 70 years old. Mainly focused as a violin/fiddle teacher, Jeremy also offers lessons on Mandolin, Guitar, and Piano. He sees each student as unique and excels in adapting his teaching style to suit the individuals’ needs.
As a studio engineer, Jeremy has worked with solo artists as well as full band ensembles and enjoys the creative process of pushing the musician or group to their highest potential, while doing everything he can to make the track sound the best it can, and be exactly what the artist was looking to create.
JOE
(Bass)
Joe Campbell, a University of New Hampshire graduate is a professional bassist and educator in the Boston area. He is most known for his work with the Boston group Air Traffic Controller who has spent time touring internationally and playing with acts such as Juliana Hatfield, Bleachers, and Justin Bieber. Over the past 16 years as a bass player, he has also performed and written for various groups throughout New England including Canyon King, Parks, The Shakespearean Jazz Show, New Legs, and At the Heart of It. Currently, he is producing and sitting in for bass sessions with various Boston acts including Narrowcast and J. Van Cleave.
Joe applies his background in classroom teaching and special education to his bass lessons to create specific plans for each student's strengths and areas for growth. Joe has access to a unique tool-set for his students as he has spent much time writing and performing across many genres of music including country, rock, metal, and jazz. If you're looking to plan for performance, improve or simply pick up the bass for the first time, Joe can offer a plan to get you there. No matter what you're working on with Joe, he always pushes students to take their acquired skill and apply that to creating music of their own.
